As we all already know LeToya has landed a role in a new film with Oscar Award nominated actress Taraji P. Henson. It was also revealed a Harry Potter cast member was part of the adventure. We now know that it is Tom Felton. He will be portraying her boyfriend in the film.

It has been reported that Henson and Felton recently signed on for the film, From The Rough. An official announcement has yet to be made.

The Writer of the movie is Mike Critelli and the director is Pierre Bagley. The film is classified in the drama category and is scheduled for a 2011 release.

The story is inspired by the real-life story of Dr. Catana Sparks, the gold coach at Tennessee State University who was the first female head coach of an NCAA Divison I men’s team. Felton, who is best known to audiences as Harry Potter’s nemesis Draco Malfoy, will play a British recruit named Edward (insert Twilight-related pun here). No word yet on what role Chon will play in the film. The film also stars Ving Rhames, and Taraji P. Henson will play the character on who the movie is based. Filming is scheduled to begin in New Orleans in October.

Well I have been digging around finding out as much information as I can relating to a post I made a few days ago.

This is the info I was sent:

"Alicia's people didnt have 100% belief in the song, Alicia was pushing it more and she wanted Beyonce to be apart of it. Alicia's people still refused, main reason being they thought that it was more of a Beyonce ft Alicia, rather than Alicia being a dominant artist on the track. Basically, next to Beyonce, Alicia was over shadowed. So they canned "Put It In A Love Song" and opted for "Unthinkable" instead. They thought the fans would react better to "Unthinkable" but personally, I think it was a stupid move. "Put It In A Love Song" would have been a huge summer smash and Alicia knows it"

According to another source, Alicia Keys also axed her entire glam squad. “Swizz Beatz is trying to remove anyone from the team that appears to be a threat because of his own insecurities” says the source.

The source also reveals that no one approved of Alicia’s relationship with Swizz Beatz because of the drama and baggage that revolve around the relationship. “Some are questioning his motives“. Case in point, Swizz Beatz pushed for the release of “Put It In A Love Song” featuring Beyonce even though the song received mediocre reviews. He not only produced the song but he co-directed the video. As of right now, the release of the video has been put on hold and they aren’t sure what to do with the video.

Well, a nobody on the way to being a somebody that is.

Here is how it happened….

I was chillin at work.
Better yet, tired at work, while browsing on the computer.
I had a toothache that kept me up until 5 that morning.
Plus,
my cousin and his friends went back to Barbados and I was semi-depressed.
I had repeated something online for the 50th time and was probably on the way to repeating it for the 51st.
The elevator opened up next to me and out walks Tina Knowles.

Now,
Mrs. Knowles and I go way way back.
Well, not really… she just comes into my job to do business and since I am usually the first person she sees,
we have established a little relationship.

(Mrs. Knowles is my boo!)

She waved at me and she went her usual direction…. but she was followed by a gorgeous woman.
I only got a glimpse of her, but I knew she was pretty and she had a mean walk.

“Is that Beyoncé?” I asked myself.

They motioned for me to unlock the door and when the pretty gorgeous woman turned around…. It was indeed Beyoncé.

Beyoncé was wearing a skin tite short dress and some sexy leopard skin pumps.

I was so in shock.

Here is a woman that has been a part of my life since her days in Destiny’s Child.
I wasn’t a super fan but I owned her music, been to a concert, and watched her videos.

A gentleman was in front of me,
requesting a page from one of the employees.
The page went something like this:

“HI. GOOD EVENING. THIS IS JUSTIN. CAN ALBERTA ….. (NOT EVEN THE PERSON’S NAME) COME TO THE FRONT. OK. THANKS. BYE.”

Now we arent suppose to even page anyone like that,
but I was so overcome with fear,
I fucked it all up.

Quickly, someone called me from the back:

“OMG did you hear what you just said?”
“I know. Beyoncé just walked in here and I got flustered.”
“WHAT? Which room did she go in?”
“The usual.”
“BYE!”

Here I go,
I see him walk by with two dresses.
LOL (he needed props)

So her bodyguard came off the elevator and he is one big black man.
I was NOT about to get yoked up by him.
Beyoncé and what appeared to be an assistant came out and went to the bathroom.
When she walked by,
I was just staring at her.
She gives off the aura of superstar plus she is so beautiful in person.

Her mother and a co-worker came out and were talking at the elevator and I had a few thoughts in me head:

“Justin. Beyoncé just walked in the DAMN bathroom.”
“Those heels she had on were HOT.”
“She is killing that dress.”
“You could be a pussy today or for once in your life, take a risk.”

So I choose risk.
What was the worst that could happen.

“Hi. *ahem* Hi…. Miss Knowles.” I said outloud towards Tina Knowles.
Everyone looked in my direction.
“Hi…. would it be possible if I took a picture with your daughter?”

It was silence.
Did I fuck up?
Would I be seeing the unemployment line the next day?

She came over to the desk swiftly.

“Well you gotta ask Beyoncé. Not me.”

I said a quick prayer.
I actually had to SPEAK to her.
LOL

So during the short wait,
my supervisor came back from lunch and we were all talking in the lobby.
Mrs. Knowles started showing us pictures of her youth and a picture were she looks like Solange.
She was very pretty when she was younger.

Beyoncé emerged from the bathroom.
She had on a grey shirt, nice form fitting blue jeans, and the same leopard skin pumps.
Mrs. Knowles looked at me and I looked at her.

“Beyoncé….” She asked.
“Huh?” Beyoncé asked, turning around.
“This gentleman would like to ask you something.”

So it was all eyea and ears on me at that point.
So I took my moment.

“Wassup Beyoncé? would it be an inconvenience if I took a picture with you?”

You know I had to keep it professional.

“Sure that would be no problem.” She smiled at me.

I got up and she wanted to take the shot on her good side.
I mean, all sides were his good sides.
I asked Mrs. Knowles if she wanted to be in it, but she declined.
I would have loved that, to be honest.
I gave my camera to my coworker and he snapped the shot.
Went a little something like this:

It was done.

“Thank you so much. It is nice meeting you.” I said, extending my hand.
“Awww no problem and it is a pleasure meeting you too. “

She was looking at me in my eyes as she shook my hands.
Nice soft hands and she smelled so good.
She got into the elevator and that was it.

Months of speculation had us guessing who Kelly would take on as her new manager, Jeff Rabhan stepped up to the job. However, on Twitter recently Jeff confirmed that he was no longer working with Kelly and had not done so for some time!

So who is managing Kelly right now? There is no way she is doing this herself considering the extensive promotion trail she is currently on. She has just released two music videos in succession. WTF is going on?!?!?!?

BEYONCE's manager/father MATHEW KNOWLES is heading back to school to teach undergraduate students all about life in the entertainment industry.

The mogul, who guided Destiny's Child to chart success and his eldest daughter to solo superstardom, took on a lecturing role at the Texas Southern University School of Communication in Houston last year (09) and he will return to take charge of a weekly class this autumn (10).
He says, "Knowledge and empowerment are two of the greatest gifts one can give.

"The environment at TSU is one of dedication, to excellence and diverse opportunities for its students. I'm honoured to be back to have this opportunity to share my experiences."

Knowles earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1974. In 2008, he was honoured with a Doctor of Humane Letters by his alma mater.

Ok so basically this will be Mathew's lecture on how to be successful in the Entertainment Business:

1. Get a four piece group and make your daughter the star
2. Make all the other girls tan and put lots of pale make up on your daughter so she stands out

3. Hire your whole family, nephews, nieces, wife as makeup artists, PA's, tour managers. Blood is always thicker than water
4. If anyone acts up. Fire them, as long as your daughter remains who gives a shit
5. Lie, Lie and Lie again. Could be about anything... song writing abilities, producing etc etc

I mean seriously, they shot that video months ago and it's not like Alicia is too pregnant to promote it back in June when it was supposed to come out. Beyoncé's next album will be more of a party, uptempo record according to producer, Sam Garrett.

Garrett is working with Knowles on the follow-up LP to her hit 2009 album, I Am…Sasha Firece, with Queen B's new release expected to hit stores sometime next year.

Despite the former Destiny's Child singer's new record only being in the early stages of production, the producer revealed: "I am going in the studio with Beyoncé this week to work on her next record. I think we are doing a lot of up-tempo records for this one."

"Thanks for your email and glad to see your return to the scene.

In answer to your question, Mathew is definitely seething at Kelly Rowland’s public display (as he sees it) of her disrespect and total disregard of all the years of work he has put into her. When she left his management, it was not on good grounds and as you may know, Mathew also got Kelly dropped from Columbia. He thought he was teaching her a lesson and she would be “nothing” without him. Amusingly, it seems to have back fired.

Mathew thinks Kelly is taunting him by posing with LeToya Luckett at various events and I know Solange thinks the same. You won’t see Kelly and Solange together anytime soon. They may still follow eachother on Twitter etc, but believe me, that is all marketing and mirrors. Done for the public.

It seems that Kelly Rowland was suffering from Asslee Syndrome over the weekend as sources are reporting that she opted to lip-sync during a concert at the P.C. Richard & Son Theater in TriBeCa. Insiders are saying that her nerves just got the best of her, but this is apparently not the first time she has done this.

When reached for comment, Kelly's camp said she sang "live to track" due to feeling "congested." He made sure to add that she went on, despite feeling ill, because she didn't want to disappoint her fans.

With Kelly Rowland still hard away at work on her third studio album, particulars about the project have remained closely guarded. However, during a recent promotional stop at Houston’s ‘The Mad Hatta Morning Show’, the Grammy winner revealed that there are set to be two versions of her as-yet-untitled LP.

When quizzed about the Dance songs on the record, Rowland lifted the lid on the fact that there will now be US and ‘overseas’ editions of the album. While the Stateside version is to be primarily Pop/R&B, the International incarnation will house such tracks as well as the more Dance-inspired songs.

The clip is charged with energy, and the cynics out there might wonder if putting two sizzling divas in a room together created any kind of rivalry. But Gaga says there was no such thing.
“What I was excited about is with B, I had no ego,” Gaga told MTV News about the collaboration. “Neither of us had an ego. It wasn’t about competition. It was about, like, ‘Man let’s give the world what they want. Let’s do a real girl-power collaboration where we support one other.’ ”
For the Day-Glo-tinged video, Gaga ditched her typical avant-garde look and styled herself more like Beyoncé. “I said, ‘I want to do you in your video, and I want to tribute you. I want to dress up like you,’ ” she recalled telling her co-star. “And Hype Williams … was so excited. They say diamonds are forever, but is there a crack in this rock? Hip hop weekly weighs in on the drama surrounding the platinum Carters.

Since photos of Beyonce’s bodyguard Julius Hollander appearing to have bold red lipstick staining his lips accompanied by another damning photo of Beyonce shielding her mouth hit the internet, bloggers have been chatting about Beyonce’s alleged cheating ways. People have been putting two and two together and have come to the conclusion that Beyonce and her handsome bodyguard may have been having a fling overseas while Jay-Z remained stateside.
What’s interesting is that following the publication of these photos, Jay cancelled a series of concerts and flew right to Europe to spend a little bit of time with his much younger wife, however the damage had already been done. Stories about what may have happened between Beyonce and her bodyguard had already reached all the major gossip sites, one insider said he’s not surprised if Beyonce has been looking for romance as Jay’s schedule is so hectic that, “She sees the bodyguard more than her husband.”

Who is the woman in the tight pants?
Although the couple are tight lipped about what may or may not have taken place, other tantalizing photos have now surfaced, this time with Jay-Z and a sexy mysterious woman entering a posh New York City eatery. Both took pains to conceal their identity, but the paps were able to capture them before being stopped. Were these photos of Hay and a friend leaked in an effort to preserve his macho image or was this an innocent business outing?
Is there trouble in paradise? The Carters have been married less than two years, which is not long by most standards, although considerably longer than most other A-list Hollywood marriages. Many of these celebrities haven’t even made it past the first year. And both Beyonce and Jay-Z are high profile attractive celebrities whose careers often take them in two different directions and different parts of the world.
Although there are a number of photos of Beyonce and Jay-Z cozying up and going on dinner dates and vacations, according t o sources close to Hip Hop Weekly the two have actually been singing the marital blues. Who will ever forget the disastrous night at the VMA Awards when Jay’s artist Kanye West treated award recipient Taylor Swift in an inappropriate manner, causing a horrified Beyonce to try to make a way for Taylor to get her moment later in the show. This was done without the consent and approval of Jay-Z who was rumored to be so incensed by Beyonce’s magnanimous gesture which could have been seen as a diss to the Roc, that he later attended VMA after parties without his wife, opting to hang out with Rihanna instead.

Are the two at odds?
This was not the first time the two have been at odds. In 2007 it was rumored that the couple had broken up for awhile, partially over their opposing views toward parenthood. Jay was ready, but she was not. People close to the golden-haired superstar said that Jay has been ready to have kids with her for quite some time, but she wasn’t ready to settle down. According to a report on Mediatakeout.cm, the pressure got to be too much and they broke up. The two reconciled and married in April 2008 but recently, when asked about her plans for motherhood, Beyonce was said to have replied, “I definitely want one (a baby), but I’m not ready for all that,” she said of the delivery room experience. “I don’t think a person should see that before her time. It was little much. But I’m so in love with my nephew, and every time I see him I’m like, ‘God, he’s just amazing.” Jay-Z, on the other hand, has been telling the pres that they are ready to settle down and start a family. “Most people dream of having a family someday,” he told the New York Daily News. “So I’m just an American boy.”

Well, he did put a ring it!
Although Hip Hop Weekly insiders close to the couple believe that there could be something going on between Beyonce and the bodyguard, Beyonce has been going out of her way to be more affectionate with her husband in public. She even said at the MTV Europe Music Awards “There’s only one person I want to thank and that’s Jay for putting a ring on it.” And onlookers said she then planted a big red lipstick print right on his lip!
So will the couple stay together or stray together? Only time will tell.

A source at the city's Malmaison hotel-where the star took a £170-a-night room for her luggage-said: "She had seven suitcases, three hand-luggage bags and two boxes, all for her mammoth concert. In the cases there were, apparently, 14 dresses, lots of shoes, make-up and 25 wigs."
It took four helpers to carry her luggage up the stairs to the room, which was situated close to the Liverpool Echo Arena, where she performed twice this week.

#1: WHAT’S THE NUMBER ONE DEAL-BREAKER FOR A POTENTIAL BOYFRIEND?
LeToya says: If you have no personality, I can’t do it…no personality and body odor. And you have to have some relationship with God. You can’t be one of those atheists.

LeToya says: Anything by Marvin Gaye. His voice is a problem. He has the sexiest voice. Or Maxwell! Yeah, I wouldn’t know about a liquor or anything, so I guess I’d have to apply it to music.

LeToya says: I only had one crush. The only reason I want to take it back is because he ended up being one of my best friends. I was in love! When I say love, I mean, oh my god. CAIRO: In a shocking display of poor diplomacy, Egypt’s chief Egyptologist Zahi Hawass allegedly called American pop-star Beyonce a “stupid person” during her brief tour of the Giza pyramids earlier this week. Writing in al-Shorouk newspaper, Summer al-Gamal said that Hawass became fed up with the pop star’s attitude after she did not show the interest Hawass felt was deserved of the pyramids.

According to Gamal, during Hawass’ self-guided tour, he said “I showed her the Sphinx and I gave her a book on King Tutankhamen,” but then his anger and frustration made its way to the forefront.

“Then he stopped being diplomatic and said in anger, ’she’s a stupid person and she doesn’t understand a thing and she doesn’t want to understand’,” wrote Gamal.

Hawass is known for his outbursts. A number of foreigners have told Bikya Masr that he has employed Arabic to insult others at dinner events and gatherings, believing the non-Egyptians will not understand his Arabic. Beyonce, obviously, did not understand his jabs, Gamal said.

“She’s coming here to take pictures and that’s it,” Gamal quoted Hawass as saying.

He then assigned one of his assistants to take the American star and her entourage to a designed location nearby to shoot the photos. Similar to any high profile guest, pictures by the pyramids have become almost routine. When American President Barack Obama was in Cairo last June, Hawass personally escorted the president around the monstrous pyramids, allowing Obama to have his photo taken on the plateau.

Gamal added that Beyonce did not win over the journalists following her, however, as at least one bodyguard threatened a cameraman with violence if he did not give the pop-star her space. “One of the bodyguards threatened the cameraman, saying he would smash the camera if he continued to film,” Gamal wrote.

The incident has left archaeologists angered. They say it is time to show the world the real Hawass. “He insults and is so controlling that it has become extremely difficult to work in this country,” one archaeologist said.

Hawass’ office did not return phone calls on Thursday morning to discuss the actions of the country’s Supreme Council of Antiquities chief’s comments in front of journalists and Beyonce.

“We are talking about an Egyptian government official and he goes as says something like this? Come on, this is very rude and totally undiplomatic,” said another archaeologist, both of whom asked not to be named as their current work is funded by the council headed by Hawass.

Cater 2 theft?

First a lil history:

Cater 2 U is an R&B song written by Beyoncé Knowles, Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams, Rodney Jerkins, Ricky "Ric Rude" Lewis, Robert Waller for Destiny's Child's fourth studio Destiny Fulfilled (2004). It was produced by Knowles, Rude and Jerkins and released as the album's fourth and final single in summer 2005, while the song peaked at number 14 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. "Cater 2 U" was nominated for two Grammy Awards for Best R&B Song and Best R&B Vocal Performance by a Duo Or Group. It is also the band's last high-charting single.

However interestingly enough only Beyonce is named as being sued.

A copycat claim contained in a 2006 lawsuit is expected to land the "Bootylicious" sensation in a witness chair next month as part of a copyright infringement trial to be held in Chicago's federal courthouse.

A Chicago songwriter copyrighted the song "Cater 2 U" long before Destiny's Child came out with a song by the same name. The songwriter also says the lyrics are similar. (AP)

In dispute is a song titled "Cater 2 U" released by Destiny's Child in a 2004 compilation called "Destiny Fulfilled." The video features sultry scenes of the musical trio proclaiming: "Whatever you desire, I'll aspire."

But Chicago songwriter and performer Rickey Allen says it's his song, and a judge has given the green light for a jury to hear his claims against Mrs. Jay-Z.

Allen first copyrighted his "Cater 2 U," -- with the same spelling -- in the mid-1990s. He performed the song locally and updated the copyright three times, as recently as 2000.

Allen's song is about "relieving the stress of a significant other, and getting them to relax." He says Destiny Child's version contains similar steamy lyrics.

When Allen's song says: "I want to rub you down," Destiny's Child asks: "Want a foot rub?"

Allen's lyrics say: "The tub has hot steam rising," and "I'm waiting to soak your body through."

The Destiny's Child song offers to: "Let me run your bath water."

"Do we say [Beyonce's] responsible for copying? Yes. But there's no such thing as innocent copying, even if it's unintentional," said Allen's lawyer, Matt Wildermuth. "The jury will decide the notion that these are simple coincidences."

Allen says he passed a copy of his "Cater 2 U" to Chicago remixer Maurice Joshua, and the two planned to collaborate on a demo.

That never happened, Allen says. But Joshua later spent several hours in a session with Destiny's Child recording a different song, according to court papers. Joshua says he never had a copy of Allen's work.

Lawyers for the threesome say the case has no merit and asked that it be tossed.

It was Knowles who was the source for the idea of "Cater 2 U," her lawyers said in a court filing.

"She is perhaps the most important witness for the defendants," they said.

U.S. District Judge James Holderman has ruled there's enough evidence for the case to go before a jury, pointing to Joshua as the link and saying it's possible he could have provided a copy of Allen's song before they released their hit. The trial was delayed once because of conflicts with Knowles' schedule but is set for Dec. 10.

As Egypt gears for pop diva Beyonce Knowles’ first performance in North Africa, Islamic conservatives are branding her show an “insolent sex party” that threatens the Muslim nation’s “social peace and stability”.

On giant posters palstered across the Egyptian capital advertising the Friday evening concert, Beyonce sports a revealing, flame-covered outfit and grips a set of motorcycle handlebars extending from her hips – a sharp contrast to Cairo streets, where most women wear the traditional Muslim headscarves.

TV ads promoting the show, part of Beyonce’s “I Am …” world tour, have run on Egyptian and Arab satellite stations. The tour, which took Beyonce to the United Arab Emirates last week, had grossed $US53.5 million ($58.66 million) as of October, according toBillboard magazine.

But in Egypt, Islamic lawmakers and their supporters have waged campaigns on social networking web sites, accusing the government of encouraging debauchery and calling for the concert’s cancellation.

“Why are you encouraging this insolent sex party?” lawmaker Hamdi Hassan from the opposition Muslim Brotherhood wrote in a letter to the government. “You are accused of disturbing social peace and stability, encouraging vice and debauchery.”

Another Islamic lawmaker, Ali Laban, called for banning the “nudity concert.”

A Facebook campaign against Beyonce’s concert collected nearly 10,000 supporters.

But the war of words has not derailed the glitzy concert, due hundreds of miles south of Cairo in the luxury Red Sea resort of Port Ghalib.

Organisers said “ultra” security will be deployed to protect the thousands of concertgoers.

Beyonce cancelled her stop in Malaysia last month following opposition from a conservative Islamic party.

Malaysia requires female artists to cover up from the shoulders to the knees and bans any showing of cleavage.

Egypt, the Arab world’s most populous country, is torn between a growing secular and economically prosperous class and a large mainly conservative, poor population.

The government has been squeezing Islamic conservatives with security crackdowns and administrative measures aimed at curbing outward manifestations of conservatism.

Beoynce’s event organiser Ahmed Beltagi said tourism and police officials cooperated to make the concert happen because they believe it’s a way to promote Egypt as a centre of culture, entertainment and art.

“We are Muslims too … this will not stop Egypt from hosting an award-winning, first class artist,” Beltagi said.

“We should salute her instead of criticising her,” he said of the diva.
